To enable delegates to:

• Promote safety and reduce major injuries and accidents when working with electricity
• Ensure compliance with all well established safety procedures and all current relevant legislation

Students should understand the risks of working with electricity, demonstrate knowledge of the type of connections and cables used, and be able to assist in the safe connection of equipment to the mains.
