A Week of Short Courses in December

Our Stage Pyrotechnics, Rigging, Event Safety Passport and Working with Electricity courses delivered back to back in a week.

 

In the first week of December we are running a range of our most popular short courses back to back to give you the opportunity to come and complete all 4 courses in one week and just in time for the seasonal period.

Rigging Course – 1st December (for 2 days)

A 2 day in-depth theoretical and practical training course in entertainment rigging, designed for people of all levels of experience.

The course appeals to a wide cross section of people, from industry novices with an interest in rigging, to technicians working with rigging equipment, and professional riggers wanting a refresher course to sharpen their skills.

Stage Pyrotechnics – 3rd December

A fun and informative day, taught by industry renowned veteran Lincoln Parkhouse, providing attendees with an overview of different pyrotechnic devices, their uses and relevant health and safety with lots of practical, hands on exercises.

Event Safety Passport – 4th December

This course is a nationally recognised qualification designed by the Production Services Association (PSA) and the Safety Pass Alliance (SPA) for people in events industries to demonstrate basic health and safety awareness. It is designed to help reduce risks in an event environment and ensure you can operate safely, no matter what your role. On successful completion of the course the passport is valid for five years.

Working with Electricity – 5th December

This course helps to promote safety and reduce major injuries and accidents when working with electricity. It covers how to comply with current legislation and well established safety procedures as well as looking at the safe connection of equipment to the mains.

We are offering a special price if you book all 4 courses and we have bed and breakfast available on-site for anyone wanting to stay the week.
